He's adorable! And the way he says things that make them all laugh and break the tension. I want more backstory about his mom though. I think may be a big part of why Cade is so angry.

(view spoiler)[ Me too! With this one though I think they went back and forth with it. He was grumpy until he got used to her and she was grumpy when he wasn't taking her seriously as an agent. I love that they found their balance though. I think he wanted to know she actually cared about him and he was on board with her plans. (hide spoiler)]

I don't know how Summer does it, manages to keep her mouth shut about him pushing himself too hard. But then I'm a chronic nagger. I hate it when people go against what the proper thing to do is, especially regarding an injury. He just shouldn't ride, he knows his retirement is looming so why not just do it now before he really fucks it (hide spoiler)]

Characters like Rhett bug me, not looking after themselves. Don't want to be found by the doctor, but that's the doctor's literal job. They're weak for getting injured? They're freaking professional sportsmen, they know injury and injury management is a part of it. Useless (hide spoiler)]

Not much to report, this book's falling flat for me. It's nothing spectacular.

I think Icebreaker was a better sportsy-type romance by far, the background was a lot deeper in that one. I will be continuing this series for sure, I've heard other couples' books are more enjoyable, so we shall see how they are

Liking the chemistry between the two of them. Her quick wit cracks me up while he keeps trying to ignore her.
