3. Why you joined the group: I thought it would be fun to interact with others that enjoy Danmei and Chinese novels and what better way than through books! X(twitter) hasn't been working out for me in that aspect because I've bad social skills.
4. Languages You Can Speak: English, Spanish (but not fluently... I can read/understand it perfectly fine!)
5. Fun Facts: I'm trying to write a book of my own but the difficult part is coming up with a good plot and planning it all out, I'm a very BAD procrastinator. My favorite Danmei is TGCF (Heaven Official's Blessing) and the first one I read was Waiting for you Online (就等你上线了) by Xi He Qing Ling, back in 2019!

3. I joined because I just recently got into Danmei back in September/October and have been obsessed since. It started with MDZS, and since then I have read all of MDZS, TGCF, SVSSS, and am currently reading through 2ha and Yuwu with more on the way! I don’t have many friends into the genre - at least ones that I can discuss much with - so I joined here to meet other readers!
4. English is my native language, I have learned very basic Korean and am planning on learning Spanish. I wouldn’t mind learning Mandarin too, but unfortunately linguistics isn’t my strong point and it’s a slow process for me.
5. Fun facts - I am also a dancer! I do primarily kpop dance covers lately but in the past my favorite form of dancing was actually tap! Another fun fact is that I used to cosplay and I’m slowly getting back into it and planning on doing a Shi Qingxuan cosplay this year. I also am working on writing my own story, and enjoy drawing.

3. Seven Seas has me in thrall by their danmei series. I'm collection them all. The only one I've read all the way through is MDZS (watched the live action and donghua). But I am in the middle of TGCF, H2A, and Remnant of Filth. Plus the 11ish other series. :D
4. Only English. I would have loved for my grandparents to teach me Polish but it was one of those things to not do to fit in...sigh. It makes me so sad.

I’ve read quite a few and I mostly prefer modern,realistic,slice of life, mature, older characters Danmei and I am not a fan of silly comedies or teenage characters nor of fantasy. I’m happy to be here and of course, if you have recommendations of Danmei similar to Wildfire, Four o’clock flower, His Honey, Antitode let me know-they are some of my absolute fav modern mature Danmei-I’m happy to receive them 🙏.
I’m currently reading Descent from an altitude of 10000 meters and Tailhook (they’re being slowly translated) and also one of my absolute fav “Bump again if you have the guts” ( I totally recommend it , it’s awesome -it’s almost entirely translated and the translator updates it every other day-). ❤️

How wonderful that you have decided to join the group! The more, the merrier. I'm fairly new to the danmei genre as well, but have been enjoying the many different types of series out there.

If you are looking for a fun, light-hearted series, then perhaps "The Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish" might be interesting for you. Or perhaps you might like Priest's "Guardian" books which are a little heavy on the mythology but with a very good, central couple.
