No, it had aspects I liked, the characters were intriguing but she was an escort and it was way way to kinky for me which I had read the authors books so was not expecting it.

Review: Gray is kidnapped by a sex trafficking ring and is being auctioned off to the highest bidder. Luckily for him he is bought by Darius, who is sent there to rescue him

That is the only bright side because they are stuck on the yacht or a few days, so they have to maintain the facade of being slave and owner.

This book is dark, but it's laced with a bit of hope. I was on pins and needles wondering how they were going to keep up the ruse and/or get off the boat alive. This was especially true when the decision was made to try to save the other boys who were auctioned off as well.

I love that series. So much wonderful ridiculousness and spice. I also love how Ruby Dixon creates a difficult character and you wonder "Who ..."

It was better than several other sci-fi I've read. Ruby Dixon is quite light and I like it from time to time.

Reread for me - a go to author I buy every book she comes out with.

Vienna Stratton has been working with Dane Davenport for four years, in that time she has learned the man is a work horse, he doesn't do commitment, and he deserves her loyalty even if she wants to throttle him most of the time. So when Dane asks her for a favor, become his wife in name only she agrees. Vienna expects to put in appearances and pretend when in public or around friends, but she didn't expect to move into his house or that she would begin to have strong feelings for a man that makes it a point of putting distance between anyone who gets close. Could it be possible that Dane might be having the same issues as Vienna, not wanting their pretend marriage to end?

This was one of those books that arrived on my kindle late at night and I got no sleep. I loved every moment of this story and was not sure what would happen between Vienna and Dane. Dane was so hard to read , he gives little bread crumbs along the way of what made him into the man he is but he has so many layers to him that you are anxious to read how the story unfolds. Loved Vienna, she has full of sass and yet she has had a complicated life as well that makes Dane respect her more. Completely different then Suzanne Wrights other books, definitely reread worthy. Another amazing book by this author.

I just can't choose if this one or Rescue is my favorite. Luke is probably favorite MC while Jet probably favorite Rock Chick MC.

One life altering moment has Ava vowing that the next time she sets eyes on childhood friend Luke, he will see a different movement. See Ava although always beautiful,struggled with her weight and after overhearing some vicious comments about her and Luke she vowed that never again would it be embarrassing to be seen together. Now Luke, never cared how Ava looked, he thought she was beautiful inside and out.

Eight years later Ava has sought out Luke, who she heard was a private investigator needing his help at getting revenge when it comes to her best friends soon to be ex-husband, the cheating rat. It only takes one minute though as she walks through the door of the Nightingale offices to realize she is not ready to see Luke and tries a quick retreat, however Luke wants answers from Ava not to mention her in his bed.

Things are only heating up as Ava finds herself being sought after by four different men, including Luke. Not to mention she has been kidnapped and seems to be the center of havoc in all different directions. With the help of the Rock Chicks, Ava is thrown from one situation to the next but the only thing she continuously is running from is her feelings for Luke, but he plans to extract them from her in all sorts of creative manners.

I am torn between if Lee or Luke is my favorite, Luke is heart melting and swoon worthy. I loved this story it is a 50/50 on which one is my favorite.

**Reread I would say this is a 50/50 on which is my favorite. Luke is a man you go gaga over, intense, straight speaking, and head over heels for Ava, she just doesn't know it.

The Rock Chick world is expanding with Mace and Stella's story, and plenty of previous characters having a moment to chime in. It wasn't my favourite story in the series. This was mostly due to Mace's level of "alphahole", which was just too much for me when they were fighting. Stella was a true Rock Chick - funny, sweet, and crazy when it came to those she loved. The Gipsies and their rock n' roll shenanigans were a fun side story too.

Review: It has been 10 years since I read this for the first time, and I am still in love. It was the first book that introduced me to Kristen Ashley, and she became my 2nd auto buy author.

There are not many books where I've absolutely loved all of the characters. So much so that they all stand out and not just the MCs. I love Indy and Lee, but you have to know that my next fav is actually Tex.

Anyway, I laughed just as much this time around as I'm sure I did the first. And I loved that even though we don't get Lee's pov (except for in the new bonus chapter) you still know how genuine his feelings for Indy are, and we already know how she felt.

I loved her relationship with Aly and how much all of Kristen's books enforce the idea of Girl Power.

You honestly can't go wrong with this book or this series. Are some better than others? Yes, but you get a great balance of love, suspense, craziness, laugh out loud funniness, and great characters that you'll see throughout.

Love Tex, my two favorites are Luke and Ava and Jet and Eddie. Of course the first book is terrific as well.

It's so funny that my other favs from my previous reads besides Indy & Lee were Jet and Eddie and Jules and Vance.

I loved them all, but those are the only ones that I rated 5 stars previously.

I always count Indy & Lee as my number one because they were the catalyst that made me fall for Kristen Ashley's books and the fact that the rest in this series and others were so good has kept me going. There have been a few that got less than a 4 star, but not very many in the grand scheme of things.

When I first read this series I binged all of them but I do not think Sadie and Maces story had come out or Ally's... I loved the characters and Jet was so sweet and shy, one of my favorite parts in Indy's and Lee's is when Indy comes out wearing I can't recall and Lee tells her to change while Eddie is there I think.

Great memory, Emily!! It was a particular shirt. I would have been pissed too had he said it in front of someone else. It took Tod to tell her the shirt was too much, and she changed, but Lee realized he was an ass for his part and later apologized.

Review: The story itself is a continuation of what's been going on from the beginning, this book includes all the characters that we know, but just introduces a new couple, which is Gwenvael and Dagmar. Gwenvael we already knew, Dagmar is the new character.

There are so many things that happened here that I loved. As always there was action and crazy mating situations. I loved this one more because it was so funny. The others have had some elements of this, but Gwenvael just made this one so much funnier than any that came before, and it was delightful to see him meet his match in Dagmar. She is smart and conning, plus she gives as good as she gets.

Review: Murderbot is on a mission to figure out what actually happened before he was set free. On the way he meets Art. In my estimation they became friends of a sort. He also meets a group of humans, while he is now trying to pass as an augmented human, who requests his help as their bodyguard.

He agrees, even though he warns them that it's a trap. Things basically go as he expects, and he thinks about leaving them to their own devices, but he's better than he gives himself credit for.

I really want to see more Murderbot and Art working together and I can't wait to see where his journey leads him.

This book is my fav in the Series. I LOVED the banter between Gwenvael & Dagnar. And it gets better with cameos from the pair & their kids in the rest of the series. In the Weeds is a warm, small town read with little angst. Evie seeks a time out from her life and finds her way back into Beckett's. While they were both nice characters, and I was looking forward to reading Beckett's story after meeting him the first book of the Lovelight Series, I was a little disappointed that their "conflict" really could have been solved with one conversation.
