Ruth (tilltab) Ashworth | 2218 comments Yup, it might be grim up north, but at least we’re not southerners (with the exception of Ruth, but she’s lived up north for long enough now that we’ll give her a pass ;P)

And I’d live in Scotland or (north) Wales if I could afford to move. There are a few points I regularly check Rightmove for, so that I know which home to snap up post lottery win.

Pumpkinstew | 117 comments I'm not usually one to resurrect a dead thread but the bonus hover text joke on xkcd#2922 was too relevant not to post. (Maybe Randall Munroe was reading?)

Bonus Question: Where is London located?
a) The British Isles
b) Great Britain and Northern Ireland
c) The UK
d) Europe (or 'the EU')
e) Greater London

I discovered that the equivalent term for Ireland is Hibernophile, so to cover all the British Isles maybe Hiberno-Britophile?
(Scotland is Caledonophile and Wales Cambrophile.)
