To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc.
How do these books fit into this criteria?

It's a set of nonfiction books on writing craft. Maybe that's where the disconnect is happening, because it's a nonfiction series rather than fiction?
Each book highlights a separate area of storytelling. The common thread is the thesaurus format of these books. Each one contains a robust front matter section that teaches writers how to master that aspect of storytelling. The second section is the bulk of the book: a series of entries that provide brainstorming options on how to write settings, character traits, conflict scenarios, emotions, etc.
I'm including a link to the first book in our series at Amazon. If you scroll down, you can see a list of all the other books, which should be enough to confirm this is a legitimate series. Viewing the Look Inside feature for a few of the books would also verify that these are all books in the same series.
