Apologies! I thought I was up to date on this thread. But obviously not! It’s been a bit busy. My hubby and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday. It was actually the 24th.

Glad you are enjoying the Chestnut Springs series. I have read 2 and 3. All others I’d be happy to buddy read.

I was wary at first, since I usually don’t enjoy violent storylines with abuse or rape. But this was well written, and fortunately more suspenseful than violent. In the end, the book was satisfying and empowering. So glad I stuck with this book.
