The Amazing Race Team Challenge - Round 9 - Tracking/Q&A/Announcements
I want to clarify something for you all, especially since we have a number of new players this round. When I say something like (and I've typed this several times today) - 'you are set to get your next task in the morning'. I mean the morning my time. I am in Southern California, so Pacific time. I am 3 hours behind New York and 8 hours behind London, as examples.On a normal day, I will usually assign new tasks around 10 am PDT, give or take. And on a normal day, I will also check this challenge in the morning and again before bedtime. On Disney days, those times will be more extreme and those days are more frequent than I should admit in writing. On those days, I try to check before I leave in the morning and then again when I get home or if I stay late, before driving home.
I hope this info saves you all some frustration waiting on me. 😊
If a task is "read 5 books that are stand alones" does each team member have to read one if it's not noted, or can someone read 2?

Each player has one pass they can use during each round. So, for the task you described a player could read two books, but the person who doesn't read would be using their pass. For some tasks, the pass is not allowed. Those tasks all include that information.

‼️ Just a couple of reminders for everyone. ‼️First, I appreciate all the help with links when posting your completions here. But please don't stress over it!! All I require is the team name and/or number to get me moving to go check your team thread! Links are nice, but if you are on a phone or other device, not always easy and not required for this.
Second, I do require links in your personal completion posts however. I have been checking on my own as long as the information is included so that I know where to check, but please make sure you are reading the explanation for the given task. I include in that what I want to see in the completion post. I expect to see links for tags, teammates reviews, alternate editions or covers, etc. At this point in the challenge, I am not going to delay in assigning new tasks but that could change if it continues to be a problem. That said, I try to be understanding if you are away from home and your computer or are having other technical issues, but I need to know if that is the case. At the absolute bare minimum, I need a link for the book though. Thanks!
