Robert Wright (rhwright) | 294 comments I've cut back my regular pull list to 3 ongoing titles:

All-New X-Men
Batgirl
Flash

I have Marvel Unlimited, which sates most of that, and long boxes and a back issue want list that covers much of my need for a comics "fix".

Still, there are quite a few new titles coming out in the wake of the Big 2's major events, as well as new independent titles all the time.

Is anything new (that I can jump on from the beginning) coming out in the next few months that sounds interesting?

No restrictions on publisher, genre, creators; though I am not a huge horror fan.

I am combing through Previews now, and not much is jumping out yet. New JLA series by Hitch. New Justice Inc by Mark Waid at Dynamite.

This group always has plenty of good suggestions, so suggest away. I am thinking maybe adding 1 or 2 monthly titles, so make a good pitch why I should go for it.

Paul | 286 comments Although not a monthly, in fact pretty erratic as far as publishing goes, and also, definately not one from the BIG2s, have you tried out Jeff Smith's TUKI?
3-issues in and can be read for free at www.boneville.com

Tiamatty Bitch Planet! By Kelly Sue DeConnick and Valentine de Landro. It's only 3 issues in, and it's awesome. I mean, it's called Bitch Planet, so how could it not be? Also, KSD and Emma Rios will be releasing Pretty Deadly Vol. 2 later this year, and Vol. 1 was brilliant, so I expect Vol. 2 will also be amazing.

All-New All-Different Avengers, by Mark Waid, looks like it should be interesting. Waid's always a good writer. He's reliably solid. And the cast is very cool, with a wide range of diversity, which is always nice. It's got Ms. Marvel on the team, and she's one of Marvel's best characters (and one of their best books, and it should be on your pull list because it's just so amazing).

Marvel's got their big Secret Wars event coming up, and it's going to shake up a lot of stuff, so we'll have to wait another couple months to get solicits for what comes after. There's probably going to be A LOT of new books starting up, either new titles or existing titles getting new creative teams.

Davidg | 34 comments I'd have to suggest chrononauts. First issue just came out a week or two ago and before I was even halfway through it I knew I was going to follow this one to the end.

message 5: by Archie (new)

Archie | 3 comments I really enjoy comics from Image. You could take a look at Manifest Destiny, its not really horror but it's about Lewis and Clark heading west but there's crazy monsters and zombie plant people along the way.
I don't know if it's up your alley but God Hates Astronauts is an over the top goofy super hero comics. Lots of puns about owls and references to terrible movies like The Room in it.

The Lion's Share The best image comics I've read are

Alex + Ada
Zero
Ten grand
Starlight
East of west
Manhattan projects
Luther strode
Black science
The fade out
Velvet
Invincible
Lazarus
manifest destiny
Outcast
Copperhead
Trees
Deadly class
Sex criminals
Saga
Fatale
Jupiters' legacy

I'd recommend all of them. Each very different in their own unique way.
