I was instantly drawn into Evie as a character, especially as the true nature of her relationship began to reveal itself. To me, this was one of those reads where the main character isn't good, but I couldn't help but root for her. What is it about these "bad guys" that draws us in as mystery readers?
I thought this book was really good! Loved the twist of George’s character and how the ending played out.
I loved the twist with George, too -- I was convinced that Ryan was Mr. Smith. Loved the ending! I think if you like this book, you'd probably like Freida McFadden.
Finished this fun read last week. Please see my review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Many Good Reads to You!

I honestly thought the husband (I forgot his name) was behind all of these crazy jobs. Thank Goodness, he wasn’t 😂
It's a well-tied plot that while reading it I couldn't wait to untie the knots and reveal everything. 😅
