The cover of the book is dark blue with the nights sky in it with a moon drawn in. There are a mix of poems and stories and even information for kids in it. I remember there was a poem in the beginning called ' The Moon is North wind's cookie', story about a girl and a thing, a story about a little mouse thinking to eat the moon thinking its cheese, about an alien stuck on earth and helped by earth kids to return home, a poem about a butterfly and a bear and about the loch ness monster. This was a very beatiful book with alot of various illustrations in various ways.

Also, the cover of the book may have a moon, a crescent moon perhaps. Its mostly about the night sky, so the books name maybe the night sky. I don't really recall.

I don't know if either of these things will be helpful, but there is a poem called "The Moon's the North Wind's Cooky" by a poet named Vachel Lindsay. If it was his poem featured in the book you're looking for, perhaps searching things related to him may give you a lead?

Also, there's a book called The Moon's the North Wind's Cooky: Night Poems by a Susan Russo that seems to be a collection of poems, but it was only rated once on Goodreads and has no photo of the cover 🫤
