John (Taloni) Taloni (johntaloni) | 5198 comments ^ I had not heard of Mammoths at the Gates, but a quick look at LAPL Overdrive shows it available with 4 of 8 copies not checked out. Perhaps go for a library borrow? If you don't have access to a big city library perhaps your local one would have at least one copy.

Joseph | 2433 comments As it happens, I did just start reading Mammoths at the Gates, but happily it's been on my Kindle for quite some time, so I don't remember how much I actually paid for it.

(I also didn't realize that the fifth book, The Brides of High Hill was going to be out like next week, or I might have waited until I could read them both back-to-back.)

New Hampshire Public Library is sadly not as well stocked as LA. I'll hold out hope for a future sale. Perhaps next week when the sequel comes out.

This is why I also use my mom’s Ohio library card for Libby access in addition to my NH one.
