I used to read fantasy all the time but I haven’t in ages. Does anyone have any recommendations to get me back into it?

Cinder by Marissa Meyer, it’s a good mix of sci fi and fantasy ! I don’t like YA at all but I adored this series. It surrounds a group of powerful + confident sci fi girls that support each other and I love that.
I have literally so many!! One Dark Window - Rachel Gillig
Serpent and the Wings of Night - Carissa Broadbent
These Hollow Vows - Lexi Ryan
These are really good Romantasy reads that can easily throw you into fantasy reading again!
hi, i love fantasy and i’d be happy to give you some recommendations! -the lord of the rings by j.r.r. tolkien-this is a classic and a must read in my opinion! it may be harder for some people to understand, simply because it was written a long time ago so the voice is different than what we’re used to today. (it was hard for me at first but got easier)
-the hobbit by j.r.r. tolkien-i’m adding this to the list as an alternative to my last suggestion. it takes place in the same world as lotr and acts as a sort of prequel to the lotr trilogy. i recommend this one if you want a more lighthearted novel by the same author, it’s my comfort book 🤍
-six of crows by leigh bardugo-you’ve probably seen this one all over goodreads and social media! i finished it only recently but it a become an absolute favourite of mine. i love all of the characters and her writing voice and style are just beautiful
I'm halfway Peaches & Honey by R. Raeta and I'm absolutely loving it with all my heart, I highly recommend it, it makes you cry a lot and giggling all the time, but if you need something easy to read, I suggest something like Fourth Wing or Once Upon a Broken Heart if you haven't read it yet.
Adult FantasyThe Final Strife by Saraa El-Arifi
The Faithful and the Fallen by John Gwynne
The Adventures of Amina al_Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty
Song of Blood and Stone by L Penelope
YA Fantasy
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
The Rise of Kyoshi
Six of Crows, Truthwitch, A Darker Shade of Magic, Falling Kingdoms, Cinder, and Poison Study are all ones I liked!
A Fate Inked in Blood by D. Jensen was one of the best fantasy (with a little romance) I’ve read in awhile! Think Norse mythology & female empowerment 🙌
Not sure what kind of fantasy you're looking for but these are some great options across the board!High/Epic Fantasy:
The Final Empire
The Name of the Wind
The Ninth Rain
Romantasy/Other:
Gild
Throne of the Fallen
The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi (my favorite)
I got into LitRPG audiobooks and highly recommend the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. If you don't want a series as long, the Cat Core series is super cute.
You should look into the ruby red series if you are into time travel fantasy books <3 it’s basically spies that can time travel and has a romance subplot :)
