Epic and Intense Scifi/Fantasy

Not sure if anyone else on here has read Mendel's Ladder. My review of it speaks for itself. It's incredible. A mix of science ficiton/fantasy/action/post-apocalyptic/death-world. Very impressive world building. It appears the book is well rated but not very well known. Has anyone else on here read it, and does anyone have recommendations for something else like it? It is very unique, I know, but I'm hoping someone has recommendations for another similar series. Thanks!
