What’s the best book you’ve ever read and why? 💕

i can’t pick an all time favourite, but i really enjoyed shatter me because of her writing and the way the story developed! such a great opening line too.

As of right now, my all time favorite book is The Kite Runner. The reason why is, obviously, the story, the authors writing style, and the message of it. But, another reason this stands out to me is because I read it in English class this year for school. I never expected to enjoy reading for school, as I always pictured reading books like Moby Dick, or any other horrifically boring book. So I had low expectations for this book, but as I began to discuss different personalities of the characters with my peers, as well as doing paper on it, I realized I actually loved this book and loved going to class so I could continue reading it. I got to step out of my usual routine of reading a book, scrolling through TikTok or YouTube and finding little snippets of what others thought of this particular moment or chapter in the book. Instead, I got to discuss every chapter of the book, every aspect and hidden analogy.

Not to mention my crush was in that class 🤣

What The Hell Did I Just Read (it is part of the John Dies At The End Series) I picked this book without knowing at the time that there are 2 books before this one.

and I like it because before this book I used to read Agatha Christie, Sherlock, and classical books. so this book just made me realize that there are other genres and other authors that I may like their books. (I know like it my mind there are other books but I was kind of stuck and this book gives the bush I need)

I honestly don't know why, but Skyhunter by Marie Lu stole my heart, it's strange since no one talks about that book, but it will always be my favorite

“My side of the mountain” by Jean Craig head George. I read it when I was in middle school and attribute that book to why I love reading so much.
