Does Happy Place get any better?

I'm 30% of the way though the book. I'm enjoying the female friendship and the MFC is okay but I'm really not vibing with the main love interest and the MFC when she's with him. The storyline also doesn't seem to be going anywhere and it seems obvious that they're going to get back together.

I'm not sure whether to continue reading or not?

It’s cute but if I read it today I probably would dnf, I do t really remember anything and life’s too short to read bad books
