Want to read ACOTAD but I heard it’s just fae p0rn?

I’m not really into smut and I feel like the smut is really good only when it’s a slow burn romance, like every time I read smut and it felt to quickly in the book it just felt off to me and I just cringe from reading this, I’m afraid ACOTAR is just fae p0rn since I heard so much about it being just a lot of smut

It is and isn't at the same time.
If you like slow burn, you will like Rhys and Feyre. The last book has the most btw, it's in the sister's pov with Cassian.

Maybe try the throne of glass series - i thought it was a much better story and much less porn-like

ACOTAR is one of my favourite fantasy series, and the romance very definitely takes a back seat to plot IMHO.
There is a slow burn romance but the eventual s*x is appropriate and story-relevant.
I’ve read many other books since where they are more smut than plot and that’s really not my cup of tea.
Why not give book 1 a try to make your own mind up?

Book 2 (ACOMAF) blew me away and is my favourite of the whole series…
