I think her name was Lily/Lilith. Her most trusted friend is her executioner, the other pov character becomes his apprentice. There is a subplot that she might be forced to marry one of the princes from the light based Kingdom but he's a coward. Any help would be appreciated I really think my little siblings would enjoy this.
