For me if I want to not get into a reading slump I switch genres. So instead of reading a romance book i read fantasy

i just read never lie by frieda mcfadden! it was so fast paced and i was addicted!

I recommend Ashes of You from the lost and found series by Catherine Cowles. She writes romantic suspense and it’s so so good.
