Phoenix laughed and shook his head, he remember to keep this memory of him being adorable in his mind. "I tell you what, I'll buy you all the apples you want now."

Phoenix pictures him walking besides Skye and holding his hands whilst traveling to the market to buy apples. He flushed, the thought was enjoyable and he found himself looking forward to it. He tilted his head downwards and cleared his throat. 'so back to being serious.' he started, 'my mum, and my people and you people are missing. Who is your first guess who did it?'

Skye leaned back against Pheonix's desk. He crossed his arms, biting his lip. "Oh, that.." He trailed off, shaking his head as if to clear his mind. "Crap, I don't know. It has to be someone pretty skilled to have done it without us noticing in real time.."

Phoenix nodded he pulled out a map of all four kingdoms. It could be one of his workers in the castle, people form the other kingdom or even Skye's workers. It was hard to find out.

Phoenix scratched his hair and leaned over the table, his elbows resting on the counter as he focused on narrowing it down. 'we have the other kingdoms, our workers, and just revengers'

He leaned over to peer over Pheonix's soulder. "I..wonder, do you have any enimes or?" He places his hands on his own hips, trying to think. "I can't even recall if I have any myself. Maybe a few people who are in debt but... I dunno"

He stared at Skye, his face heating up. The sun peaked out from behind the clouds. Quickly fucking away before he could see his reaction he tried to calm his heartbeat. 'you were my only enemy..' Phoenix mumbled, he couldn't even remember why they were enemies anymore.

"Good to know-" He said sarcastically, but lightheartedly as his eyes glanced at Pheonix quickly. "Well...Honestly, I'm not sure. This will...take a lot of brain power to think through and figure out. And energy. And I dunno about you, but staying up all night to try and kill you was not fun..so now I'm tired-"

Phoenix looked up at Skye and smiled softly nodding his head. 'sure you're probably bored..you can leave any time if you want to..I'm not holding you hostage or whatever!' Phoenix looked down at his hands, shuffling. He wrong his wrists and decided if Skye left he would just ask his brother to stay with him.

"I'm not bored," He said calmly, taking a deep breath before shifting on his feet and shaking his head. "I'll stay longer, I honestly have no need to go back to my castle..."

Phoenix looked up quickly, he tried to grasp a hold of his emotions and his face heated up. 'um- yeah..' he bit back a smile. 'yeah..I mean sure..if you wanted to.. yeah..' he whispered.

"Then I'll stay and annoy you further." He gave a wink, laughing quietly.

Phoenix gave him a playful glare and nudged Skye with his elbow. 'that's what was your plan all along!'

Phoenix laughed, his whole face flushing as he leaned even closer to Skye 'i guess I'll have to hide the evidence, eh?'

"Hide the evidence, care to inlighten me?" He leaned close enough to the point of their noses brushing.

Phoenix was rendered speechless, his face heating like a light bulb. The sun was shining brighter, which was sort of concerning because of the normal cold temperatures nearing night time. He drank in Skye's face, body, hair, and then looked away

"Look at me," He said softly, reaching a hand to gently hold Pheonix's chin, guiding his face back to look at him. "C'monnn, I won't bite." He then smirked. "Unless you want that of course,"

Phoenix sputtered, he tried to stare Skye in the eyes but found it impossible. Blushing he fiddled with his hands, sneaking glances at Skye

Phoenix opened his mouth and shut it again. 'skye-' he breathed, his breath hot on Skye's skin.
