I got this novella in an ebook collection called Twelve Lords for Christmas: A Holiday Historical Romance Anthology, it was probably 1.99 or 2.99. Regency romances are like candy, enjoyable once in a while but cloying if I consume too many in a row.

This is part of a series and there are references to characters and events from the last book plus hints about future books. There's no real character development and very little time for the hero and heroine to fall in love and declare themselves. Of course they are helped along by a mysterious figure that almost kills each of them - not to mention the ghost. This was an amusing hour or so but that's about it.
