I read this book in the past few years and I believe it was a new book. I am not sure if I am mixing up two books, but I think it went like this: It took place in England. Main character is at work (writing manuals?) and a co-worker goes on a shooting spree. She lives next door to a sad lady with an imaginary baby. I think she had a cat. The fantasy element of the book is that her family calls on someone that magically appears to help her get her life together.

Mass market for sure. It was on the Kinsella side, but supposed to be kind of deep with the part about the person sent to help her. He was kind of a slob at first, and was supposed to symbolize her depressing life. I believe as she started feeling better, he started cleaning up.

He is helping the manual writer. I really hope I'm not mashing up two books here. I'm pretty sure I would have found it on a book review list of popular books and I am guessing it was early 2013.
Found it. The Time of My Life by Cecelia Ahern. I'm not sure the shooting part or the baby part was in the book and it was in Ireland. Sorry. By the time I finally decide to post my questions on here, I end up searching even more and figure out out on my own.
I am always using the app and I can't tell how to delete, change the subject to solved, or move to the solved folder. Is it possible to do this? I am seldom on a computer anymore and when I try to open the website on my phone, it keeps forcing the app to open instead.
