Mine is online or electronic of some sort purely because of convenience and price. But if I had all the money in the world and all the time, I would source the worlds largest library with the most beautiful copy of every book my heart desires LOL

My preferred mode of reading is every moment I'm awake.
i like to read physical books but I mostly read online because it’s easier and also books are expensive
I like reading a hard copy of a book in a small corner, sometimes in the dark, often I read with music as well. I enjoy audiobooks because I can do school work, and chores and such while enjoying a book.
Ebooks, it's just the most convenient for me in this season of my life. I can't carry around a book, but I can easily whip out my phone. Sometimes audiobooks, but I usually don't remember to listen to them. 😅
Immersive reading. I read as I listen to the audiobook (whenever possible). Helps with my reading speed and concentration.
I have my Kindle and read ebooks when I am not working, some physical copies, and when I work I listen to audiobooks. It's too hard to keep a ton of physical books available all the time, so I only have certain types of books and my absolute favorites in physical copy.
I like hardbacks! idk why but it just feels nice

I love physical books because I like having a way to bookmark and books smell good
I love my Kindle and I read on it all the time but I also love physical books because I really really like to annotate my books
Right now audiobooks because I can listen and do other things I need to do. But I miss having time to read the physical books
normally physical books bc i like underlining things but kinds at night so i can lay down
I love ebooks on my kindle so that I can use the Open Dyslexic font for any book. I love to read before bed and by the pool before work!
I prefer physical books but I read also online because on some site there are free books.
Only hardcovers for me. Never liked paperbacks, never got used to e-books. Audio books only when we travel long distances.
Usually physical books. Mainly paperbacks, because they are cheaper. E-books when traveling and audiobooks when doing chores at home.
Hardcover books are cheaper than paperbacks if you wait a year and then order them "used - like new" on amazon.
audiobooks. Because I'm just weird and possibly the reason why someone asked if audiobooks counts as reading in this group. LOLActually in 2023 I went through 4 months of physical therapy and they said you can listen to music while you do it. After weeks of not listening to anything I started and I haven't stopped.

My preferred mode is physical books, but I do read mainly on my Kindle due to cost and ease. If it is a book I've really been waiting on, I will purchase the book because I like to keep them.

I like all 3: ebook (Kindle), physical, and audio. And for different reasons. I like to have the audiobook when I need to drive or do dishes, it makes it go faster. But I really like the Kindle or physical, so I can highlight and go back to reread my favorite parts. Or just be able to reference back.
Physical books have photos, you can look how many more pages until the chapter is over, you can search in the back in the index when you read non-fiction books. Plus it's such a great feeling to hold a hardcover book in your hands.
I prefer physical books because it's probably the only time my eyes are not looking at the screen. I do read e-books on my phone though. I just tried audiobook and I think that could be a good alternative when I want to rest my eyes but still want a good story.
I much prefer a physical book. I like holding it in my hands, being able to go back a few pages to re-read something, I like the smell, and visual context. However, I find myself mostly using audiobooks simply for the convenience. I can listen to the story while driving, doing laundry, exercising, etc.
Physical books which I mostly get from the library. I just like the feel of them in my hands and less eye strain from too much "screen time" since I work on a computer all.day.long.!And audiobooks for my LONG commutes to work (1 hour each way).
I have to read paperback and hardcovers. I love actually turning the pages, it keeps me engaged. I mostly read outside in the morning or in my room at night with the lamp on.

electronic books. can easily transport and doesn't damage easily
I usually ready one digital book and listen to another in audiobook form while I commute
Ebooks. For me, it's not about the price; I moved house to a smaller place, and simply don't have room for a physical library any more.
physical books most of the time but I might not mind a Kindle with some glasses that protect from the uv lighting
Physical books but my bookshelves are stuffed, so unless it’s a book that I’ll read over again, a history or reference book it’s ebooks.
I prefer physical books, however they're bulky and not convenient when on the road/or traveling, so unless it's one of my favorite authors or a book I want to share or re-read, I purchase ebooks primarily.
I love electronic. My heart will always love physical books but I don’t buy many. The prices are expensive and they take up room. That’s why I’ve moved onto my iPad for reading. I love it. I have all the books I could want, I read faster, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space.
definitely physical although i spent so much on an ereader-
Kindle or Audible. After 36 years of nursing I have widespread arthritis and my hands. I find it difficult to even open bottles, jars and I’m unable to hold books. In saying that I’m blessed that o am able to read
I still love to read printed books, although saying that, I have not tried reading any other way. Maybe I am just old fashioned.
Depends on the book. With a massive collection of technology books I use all over, eBook please. For all others physical books only. I will consider Audible only should the time come I cannot use the others anymore.
