But then you can only read 52 books per year.

I can generally do one audiobook a day.
If I am reading my e-book between customers, I can get anywhere between 10-25% of the book read in a shift, depending on how busy it is and how long the book is.
If I'm off, I can read any kind of book in a day.

If I have a lot of free time then I will within a week
If I really enjoy a book I can easily it in 2 or 3 days regardless of the length
If a book is really boring it can take me two months to finish a 200 page book
If it’s one of my favorite I’ll finish a 600 page book in under a week
If I don’t feel like reading or am really busy it will take me about 2 weeks

I do usually read books that are about 500-800 pages which take a little longer to get through. If I'm reading a book under 400 pages, I can finish that in about 2-3 days. On top of that, I read like 2 or 3 books at a time plus a few graphic novels and manga as well as one audiobook. So, I typically average a little over 200 books per year.

And when we fly to Europe, I always put 3 or 4 hardcover books in my hand luggage and big suitcase, one for the flight and the others for the evenings at the hotels.
