McKenna | 4 comments I remember reading a book when I was in about 4th or 5th grade. This book I read in one sitting due to the formatting, it was a diary entry style I believe or just like short chapters in a simple format (this doesn’t make much sense ik). I remember this book being semi-inappropriate for a kid my age,,,however I enjoyed it. I know there was angst and possibly issues with parents. I also remember vividly (only part really of the book) that the main character learned/joined her friend for their Hanukkah celebration. I also think that this book may have had a yellow ish cover?

Please help :)

McKenna | 4 comments Hey ERB it is not that book, the jewish part of the book was more a side story to the main story. The book followed a girl presumably through middle school and her growing through that. I appreciate the help though!

McKenna | 4 comments Not it definitely seemed stand alone to me. I remember the end being wrapped up pretty well.

Rainbowheart | 28707 comments Was the main character a teenager or a younger child?

Yellow cover and strange format makes me think of If You Only Knew, but I'm not sure the rest matches.
