I wrote a book. It started with the female protagonist's first name and ended with the male protagonist's first name.

I think I would change to "choose" vs "heart wants what it wants" type of case.

My own would be "This too shall pass.", preferebly with ironic echoes, of having a whole other emotional meanings.
