Read this this afternoon... not much to say...

Ravenor and Eisenhorn always seem to be the underdogs in these stories, despite the power they wield... this one had some real Silent Hill Cult vibes... and another cliffhanger, kinda... plot hook for finale at least...

I loved the opening scene - the very weird bounty and the fight... Great way to start. I am guessing (view spoiler)[ Ravenor is in the bounty hunter's brain... Trying to get an in on the operation with the chaos infused glass... (hide spoiler)]

Ch. 13... I am so angry! (view spoiler)[ I guess the bounty hunter is not from Ravenor's crew and he just hurt my Unworth!!! He has been my most enjoyable character to read in the series so far. I really hope they didn't kill him! (hide spoiler)]

About 70% in... (view spoiler)[ Man, what is happening with the dude who is addicted to the chaos drug??? He was at fault for letting the imprisoned hunter out and then he killed him, when he knew Ravenor wanted him alive!

Patience Kiss is dying... And the bad guys are just killing folks with no compunction at all... And now, a Dissembler is working for them - another type of character to give me nightmares and paranoia! I am very invested in the story, but I am so anxious, I can barely stand it... (hide spoiler)]

Finished... I really like this series for some reason... (view spoiler)[ I knew it was Cal who had the demonic possession, not the kid and I hate that he is letting Ravenor think it is the kid... Now he healed Cara in order to get her on his side. I hope Ravenor can exorcise the demon, but most likely Cal will become a real problem, kill a bunch of people and some of the team, and will have to be killed at the end... I hope at least they are able to get to the dude who did the ritual in order to ascend... Also, I am very happy that Unworth is alive and going to stick around! (hide spoiler)]
