Annie Rose | 54 comments honestly it’s hit or miss for a lot of people. like i personally loved it the whole time and it took me about two and a half months to read them all (while reading other books in between) i feel like they did go by pretty fast considering their length. and i feel like you should give it another try and at least see if you like the first one bc the assassins blade is really just tellin you what you need to know for background knowledge but the actual books are a lot different. it’s a great series so i’d say try it at least

Kai's Darling | 660 comments I for one. Absolutely love throne of glass. I got the last book on my shelf. I also have a pretty active life but I enjoyed it enough that I finish every book in a solid 2 - 3 days. Assassins Balde? Eh. I didn't enjoy it that much either

♥︎ Heather ⚔ (New House-Hiatus) (boston730) I didn't even notice the length of them while reading. I was so immersed in the story and so it didn't matter. I read all of them, including AB in 9 days. I actually just did a reread with the audios and finished in the same amount of time. I love the story so much - it's my roman empire! Obsessed!

I think you should just jump in and give it a try, don't worry about the length of them. I've had books that are 300 pages that take me weeks to finish because they don't hold my attention and books that are 1k pages that I finish in a couple of days.

Destiny Vasquez | 10 comments i love this series, however there are some books in the series that are better than the others. I also hate how much the tandem read is pushed, I personally just read the books in their number order and call it a day.

LilMisGrayBrisk | 552 comments For me, things started picking up the second half of book two. I also read Assassin’s Blade after Throne of Glass, so I think that made a difference in my enjoyment of it.
