SOLVED. Book about two 12 year olds (I think), who were raised with other kids on a different planet

They were raised away from earth to be a role model of what humans should be like, when they went back they discovered something, but I don’t remember exactly. The boy had an older brother and sister. The girl had to take care of a younger girl. I know they got separated and she was in the forest at some point. The boy and his siblings along with the girl were in a city I believe when they were captured by these alien things and taken to a camp where they were being controlled and had to dig for something? I don’t remember much about the book just a few scenes. I think the boys name started with E but I could be wrong. I read this around 2018.
