Hi everyone,

Reading updates! I am half way through Kingdoms of Death, 40% into In the Shadow of their Dying - and also beta reading a novel for a friend. Very busy with all the reading!!

What are you all getting reading?

In Spain we're celebrating Asian writers month (it's a readers' initiative, not an official one), it's the fifth year in a row that we do this. I've finished "Red Bean Paste" which was translated into Argentinian Spanish this year, and now I'm readig "Yellowface", by RF Kuang in English and also an ARC of "Fathomfolk" by Eliza Chan.

"Yellowface" slaps you in the face from the first word... as I expected from Kuang. She's ruthless and I'm living for it

Started Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree and loving it. Got Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao lined up to start afterwards, so I will be celebrating with Spain and Paula.

Hi Shauna how are you? I’m reading Dark Star Burning Ash Falls White, and rereading The Atlas Paradox so I can read The Atlas Complex cos I forgot the story!
I’m trying to buy your novella here in Brazil but it’s been unavailable so far, I’m so mad! I really want to read it specially because it’s about Ronnat my dearest!

Also did you know your novella is on a list of “books about England” on Amazon? I’m turning on my grave and I’m not even dead yet 😂

Oooh eager to hear your thoughts on In the Shadow of Their Dying, that was so utterly unhinged in the best way possible!

I am currently reading The Very Secret Societ of Irregular Witches, which I am loving, and listening to Slaying the Shadow Prince, whcih is also really good braincandy. I've been in such a weird reading mood lately, but I am just embracing it!

I'm really enjoying. Now I've released my novella, I'm taking a day off. Going to do some reading, so will have it finished today. I've only got about 30 pages left.

Also - The Very Secret Society of Witches is coming with me on holidays. I'm excited. It feels like the perfect holiday read

I really want to read Iron Widow. She seems to having some problems with her publisher. I hope that all gets resolved and the sequel comes out!

And YAY love that for you, I think The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches will be a perfect holiday read. It is so charming!

Just started Empire of the Damned by Jay Kristoff book 2 in the Empire of the Vampires, Thought I was all done with vampire books, but I guess not as I loved the first book.
