Retelling of Biblical Moses' story with narrative explanations for "miracle" events

Helping my elderly mom find a book she read "quite a while ago." The cover had a misty picture of a blurry desert scene with water drops.

Her description:
'An important line in book it that when people say “…God is like”…it is wrong cause He is the “great Unlike”

It follows Moses to wilderness and it is full of science facts that show why some things happened. Like how there is a bush that doesn’t burn up (I think). It isn’t saying it was not God speaking to Moses…but the book shows practical things and after all it is how humans live and God can use anything…'
