Malene | 3 comments I have a school project and would like to collect some data. You are free to fill it out and would really appreciate if y'all would fill it out. it's mostly directed at people who don't have English as a first language. all help is appreciated 🥰

Dee Turner | 17 comments I'm only sorry my first language is English--I did finish and submit your form, thank you for the opportunity! I think, above all, that losing one's first language is a tragedy.

Those who can should speak, read, and write in however many languages they can! In Europe it's common for children to learn four or more languages fluently at an early age. Up until age 10, our minds are almost completely wired to learn languages--after that, learning any new one is increasingly difficult. Hang on to what you have and keep working on English as a second language, because you'll need it.

Eilidh (eilidh_craw) My first language is English but I’m learning Swedish as a second language. I’ve filled in the form for you and used both languages as an example.

Good luck 🤞
