ali (_notafunnyusername) | 23 comments I'd recommend the picture of Dorian gray, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and most greek tragedies

KyoAi ♡ | 778 comments I liked Anne of Green Gables, but if it's too long, I recommend The Light Princess. A Little Princess is something better if you don't want something too short and fairytale-like.

Emilee Byers | 1 comments Pick a story that sounds like something you’d read whether it was a classic or not, then start to read. If you’re confused or not in love right away, luckily for us we have a million resources now, so I recommended watching a tv or film adaption, or googling some summaries to help you along the way. So many people want to shame others for “cheating” when it comes to classics by googling summaries or watching the movie but it isn’t the same as fully understanding the book, it’s just one persons take on it when your take could be completely different so I say use them! Then once you’re done, the next time you go to pick it up and you have a better idea for the story and the writing, it will be a completely different experience. Then you may be able to dive into more classics without using other resources!! That being said, PRIDE & PREJUDICE
