"the yaks are having trouble with their rice" children's book

I read this book in the early 2000s, I think it may have been Scholastic since I probably received a free copy at a local arts fair. These books were in a series, animals were the characters and they were all doing funny things, yaks struggling to eat rice with chopsticks, mice eating moon cheese in space suits, dinosaurs playing sports, pigs, pandas, and all kinds of animals. I remember the books in this series all had a clock on the cover in a corner, maybe with a mouse showing the time with its hands. I think one book was food/eating themed (with a green border around the cover illustration), while others were possibly sleep (purple) and play (red).
