I read this book after being drawn to the cover. I love birds and something about it seemed mysterious and it gives clues to the story , although I will not reveal them and encourage people to read the Goldfinch, to uncover the mystery behind the cover of the book and to enjoy a book I love
.

I doubt I could call any my all time favorite - but this one never fails to make me happy.
