question re: importing from Amazon

Trying to import titles from Amazon. After submitting the URL, I get a note saying I can follow the import's progress on the import page, but I see nothing there about my imports or their status. SHOULD I be seeing something there, or is the note inaccurate? Or does no status mean the import didn't go through?

The import process is not for adding books to the database; it is for adding books already in the database to your personal shelves.

I have a question: I just tried importing a list of books from a website that it says you can do, but where do the imported books go? Are they added to a specific shelf or what? Do you know? Thanks!
