Just started Mistborn #1. Having never read a single Sanderson book, thought I should make an effort :)

“House of Flame and Shadow” by Sarah J. Maas. I loved the first book in this series, but I’m 260 pages into this one and it’s dragging. This is the longest tunnel ever!
just finished A Tempest of Tea and it was amazinggg I need some time to process it before picking my next read
The Tin Drum by Gunter Grass. This is my second time through it because I think I missed some key points the first time. I think this may have displaced Shalomar the Clown as my favorite book.
I just finished reading The Court Of Wings And Ruin. I'm about to start on A Court Of Frost And Starlight.

Hold on, Colin, the next 3 seq..."
Oh geez, that sounds promising, Christine. Hope I get the time to read them all!
Cheers from CB
Just started 'Tasmanian devil:a unique and threatened animal' because I got suddenly curious about these critters.
Leave No Trace by Mindy Mejia. Isn't this a great first line? "By the time the boy in ward four attacked me, I'd already nicknamed him The Lost One in my head."
Also, this author kindly donated a copy of this book to a library that suffered extensive damage from one of the worst wildfires in our state's history. Well done, Ms. Mejia and thank you for your art!
Killer of the moon flower. I am right in the Middle of this book and so far its really good, lots of historical accounts from historian research and pictures of the real people and sites.
Claudio wrote: "Just started 'Tasmanian devil:a unique and threatened animal' because I got suddenly curious about these critters."Ah, the Tassie Devil. Enjoy, and hope to see your thoughts about them on this thread soon.
Cheers from CB (from Tassie)
Halfway through Divine Rivals & Titanborn.Absolutely enjoying both books. There's more, but these are the 2 I am focused on.
daindreths assassin, and once upon a broken heart.and on the side trying the Skulduggery Pleasant series because a cousin recommended it to me
The Black Guy Dies First: Black Horror Cinema from Fodder to Oscar by Robin R. Means ColemanThe Sun Down Motel, by Simone St. James
LITTERALY just finished rereading stolen heir, for the new one that just came out (AHHHH IM SO EXCITED ✨✨✨)
I'm currently reading we'll always have summer, the first two books were okay hopefully this ones better
Reading Night Watch, Jayne Anne Phillips; listening to The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store, James McBride. Both very good.
I did a big goof and bought a book, not knowing it was the final book in a series, and am currently reading that. Now, you might be asking- "If you now know that its book 3, why don't you go and read books 1 & 2"
good question-
Because I'm not really enjoying book 3... and if I don't like the ending, I probably won't care about the beginning.
Book in question? The Beauty Trials
** Which in my defense, 100% sounds like a book 1 kinda title.
