Wendy (lilacwest) | 49 comments I'm on page 40 and really enjoying it so far. It's not something I would have normally picked up.

Julie Grindal (julesgrin) | 155 comments I’m listening to this on Libby as an audiobook. I’m about 60% done. Surprisingly, I don’t hate it. Do I cringe at times, yes. I don’t like smarmy romance but I’m finding parts of the story I enjoy more.

Tiffany (herbtiff) | 178 comments My niece loves these books. I'm just slowly making my way through.

I enjoyed the book. Yes, cringy at places and not the most healthy book with regards to relationships, but the story was good. Would I read the rest of the series? Not putting it at the top of my TBR, but if I was without a book and it was available, I would.

Dawn (dawnella77) | 156 comments I read this book and romantisy is a new genre for me. I was skeptical about reading a book about fairies but could not put it down. I loved the book and the storyline, although at times I was angry, stressed and felt the intensity of the pain and hardship the characters endured . I rejoiced in the final outcome of the story.

Saar The Book owl | 19 comments We're discussing the book in another group and there there was the reference to Beaty and the Beast. I'm not a Disney fan, but I can see why this thought rises.

Not sure what chapter it was, but I'm at the Calanmath (or something like that) gathering. I'm reading the Dutch version. Sorry if I mention names, places...wrong.

I'll reply on the comments later. There's a lot that I've forgot about the book.

Saar The Book owl | 19 comments I think this is the 2nd or 3rd reread and the story captivated me less than before. For me, the Throne of Glass series were better, but before I can for an opinion on the ACOTAR - series, I must finish them too. Hopefully, the next parts are better.
I loved Nesta. I can understand why she is who she is. But still, she deserves a bigger role in the series.
I expected Feyre to grow more during the story, but that didn't happen. Okay, she faced Amarantha and went Under the Mountain, but it didn't felt enough. She felt immature and a bit superficial.
My favorite MC's were Lucien and Rhysand, because, well, they're a bit bad ass, aren't they?
