One dark evening on New York City’s Upper West Side, two strangers meet by chance. Over drinks, Amanda and Wendy realize they have much in common, especially loneliness and an intense desire for revenge against the men who destroyed their families. In another part of the city, Ruth is home alone when the beautiful brownstone she shares with her husband, Scott, is invaded. She’s attacked by a man with piercing blue eyes, who disappears into the night. Will she ever be able to feel safe again while the blue-eyed stranger is out there?

I mean just because he didn't show up at work...I am hoping she is being true to her word to Amanda, but it just seems too easy. Also, I was surprised that we are actually getting Scott's perspective. I'm not against it, this just seemed like a women-centered narrative. (hide spoiler)]

This is really good so far. The whole Strangers on a Train plot is great and I'm interested to see where that goes now that Naomi claims she's killed Crone for Amanda. I wonder if she actually killed him or if it was a lie? And Ruth thinks she's found the guy who attacked her. Is he actually the right guy? She went through a really traumatic incident.

Oh wow, I wonder why Naomi tricked Amanda into trying to kill that man. Her story was obviously all fake as Amanda discovered so who is she? Why did she want him dead? Also I can't believe Scott killed that guy. Hopefully Ruth is more ok now that her attacker is gone.

Damn so Naomi or whatever her name is has done this before. I'm starting to think Naomi is Ruth due to the fact all the victims look the same. She keeps getting people to kill men she thinks are her attacker.

I was right, Naomi was Ruth. She was having someone kill her attacker over and over again. I'm glad she was stopped but man did I not suspect Billy of being her attacker. I did like though that he got rid of Crone for Amanda, she deserved peace after what he did to her little girl.
