Is the TOG series worth reading?

I just finished reading acotar and I can't decide if I want to start reading TOG because I saw some mixed reviews.

I read TOG right after finishing ACOTAR and like everyone is saying, it is even better. Definitely read it before Crescent City if you're planning to read all of SJM's books.

I hated the first book. It's also the only book I've read in the series so far. But I hear no 3 is really good so maybe I'll just skip no 2.

It is a long series. It starts off a little slow but the story is so good and by book 4 it’s like all I could think about for weeks. And all worth it to get to the last book! I cried for like over half the book 😂

It’s a must! Reading the series was the best decision I’ve ever made. It will break you down only to put you back together in the end. And then again. After you finish it you’ll never be the same again. If you ever take some book recommendation from me let it be this.

It’s so good and worth it in my opinion. I think a lot of the mixed reviews come from people expecting it to read like ACOTAR and have spice, but it’s very different. It’s more of a high fantasy, though it does have lots of romance and tension on the side (just not like ACOTAR where everything kind of revolves around it).

I think it’s worth picking up! I also read it over a few months because it is a long series.
