I start by reading things I know I will definitely like, so the genre I typically get into the most, as well as the author I love most. I also look at book lengths and choose the shortest one I have. I also have either a show/movie/music playing so I’m not tempted to go on any of my electronics. Really hope this helps and you can get out of your slump!!!

I suggest starting with a short book like 100 pages long and try to choose a book that has a genre that you like.
