Children’s book: Mean old lady with broom ends up being nice. Read in early 2000's.

- Mean old lady that shews away kids with her broom
- Children throw rock at her window and break it
- Other kids decide to have compassion and come and apologize for it and maybe try and fix it.
- She makes them chocolate chip cookies
- Woman isn’t actually mean, just tired of kids harassing her

Addie McCormick and the Stranger in the Attic also came up with a keyword search. It's a Christian moralistic tale - was yours also Christian fiction?

@Capn. It is a picture book and not either of those. And yes, I believe it was Christian fiction. Which is part of why it is difficult to find.
