I absolutely love Thriftbooks! You earn points as you buy that can result in a free book

I like shopping on abebooks thriftbooks and better workbooks websites. Sometimes Target will have good deals for buy 2 get 1 free on books.
Not sure where you're from but in the UK we have a shop called The Works and the books are so much cheaper than Amazon and Waterstones. They have a good deal of 3 for £6
Thriftbooks hands down is my favorite. The majority of the time i can get 5 or 6 books for $25. New books I get from Barnes & Noble or Amazon.
Small family owner Bookstores (We don't have Barnes & Nobles and even though I can technically order from Amazon, the shipping to my country would be 100$+)
Yard sales, thrift stores, used book stores. Thrift store online books. Also I am in a few Facebook groups that sale books. For new books I have bought them at Wal-Mart, I loved Books -a-Million but they close the only within 30 from us down. So it would have to be Barnes and Nobles.
It is very new but if you like ebooks, especially in science fiction, book bale has a growing inventory.
For online purchases, I probably buy most of my books from eBay. I like being able to see pictures of the book I am potentially buying, but sometimes shipping can be a bit much.
I wish there would be an alternative to amazon.com and amazon.de, but Medimops often has not all the German books that I would like to order, so it always boils down to amazon.de.Over here there is Abe Books and a few others which are more expensive than amazon.com.
Local used bookstores are my favorite places to find my next read. Thriftbooks (online) is great because they have amazing prices you can get alerts for things you are looking for and earn free books. It's also free shipping after $20 I think. Thrift shops are great too, I find many contemporary and classics that are on my to-read list this way.
I live in LA County and a lot of the local libraries in the areas have Library Book Sales. The revenue goes back to the library and it helps them out a great deal. 😊
Any used book store. I love seeing what other people have enjoyed (the pages are worn and often dogeared) and what was not worth keeping (pristine condition). I am also very fond of our library's Friends of the Library bookshelf with first editions!! for a dollar.
