becs | 178 comments Thrift books and Alibris!!!! they are so good and CHEAP USED books and are typically always in good condition!! get your pre loved books its saves on money and is better for the environment. although I do get the appeal with B&N when it comes to new releases but personally I refrain from it

Lisa Goldstein | 127 comments I have a used/indie bookstore near me called second edition books, also like the dollar store books and dvd/blu-ray. Also goodwill stores. And in adjoining counties i buy from friends of the library bookstores or library book sales.

Samantha I primarily use the library - the Libby app is great and its free! For physical books most libraries allow you to place stuff on hold online and then go pick up off a shelf when it is ready. Easy peasy and oh so free!
