Yeah that's really helpful. Also which tropes you love/hate

A.R. Schlüssel | 13 comments Helvetia, Amid Celtic Heroes,

Is not another fantasy tale of dragons, Knights and damsels. It's a vibrant tapestry woven with intricate ancient world-building, diverse characters you'll root for, and a plot that drills your mind. All in a world that feels both familiar and fantastical, drawing you in with vivid descriptions and leaving you eager to explore its hidden corners.

At the heart of the story lies Helu. Her determination, courage and resilience in the face of adversity will inspire you. You'll find yourself cheering her victories, feeling her losses, and growing alongside her as she navigates an ancient world fraught with danger and thruths that persist today.

Tess | 9 comments we hunt the flame got me out of my years long reading slump!! it has enemies to lovers and such good slowburn (in my opinion) it's not spicy tho but theres still lots of tension

message 16: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (r1versong) | 72 comments If you like spicy paranormal books, Love in The Occult Traumatic by Alexis Luna. It is very, very, very spicy (beyond what I would normally read, but that's ok). I don't review books on booktok, but it is so good that someone really should. I have been the only one to review it so far here.

Alexandra Pacheco Tristan | 3 comments Thank you all! These are very helpful and sound great 🥰

Alexandria ˙⋆✮ people sometimes say you should re-read your favorite book. I think it's a good idea, or maybe you can read short book: I recommend to you "Under one roof" "Stuck with you" or "Below zero" by Ali Hazelwood, there're really easy!

message 19: by Maeg (new)

Maeg | 39 comments If I'm in a reading slump, I usually reread books that have my fave book boyfriends in them. Like Twisted Love and Twisted Games by Ana Huang or Haunting Adeline by HD Carlton or The Pucking Wrong Number by CR Jane. I find that rereading books make it easier for me to go read new ones next. Hope this helps.

Maybe you'd like An Affinity for Burning. It's an enemies-to-lovers romantasy.

This is also a great idea. The vignettes are short but poignant, and can get you back in the groove of reading longer chunks of prose at a time.
