Celeste | 40 comments Hello, soon I will have to make a rather long trip and I'd like some suggestions for a couple of light and fun books to read, or rather listen to, during the journey.
I'm looking for books that are easy to follow since I won't be able to give my full attention to the narration, so nothing with too many twists and turns or overly convoluted plots. And same goes for the prose, english isn't my first language and even if at this point I can consider myself pretty fluent I don't think I'd ever have enough brain-power to follow the Silmarillion while I'm driving 😅

I read most, if not all, genres. But my favorite are fiction, fantasy and magical realism. And my least favorite are romance and thriller/horror.
Thank you for your time!
