Raven Silverburg (ravensilverburg) | 116 comments I have been through a series of ‘bad’ or ‘boring’ books for a while now. And I really want to pick up a book that’s either fast-paced mafia or has a really good plot and is well-written and I am pretty confused about which book should I pick up next.

1. Chicago Ruthless Series by Sadie Kincaid
2. Sinners Anonymous Series by Somme Sketcher
3. Dark Hearts Series by Jagger Cole
4. Heart of the Inferno Series by Nicole Fanning
5. Mariana Zapata's books {Luna and the Lie, From Lukov with Love, All Rhodes Lead Here, The Wall of Winnipeg and Me }

the problem is that I am pretty torn on which book I should pick up next and I cannot randomly pick up any book because that's how I ended up with the series of boring books with poorly written characters (and plot with so many holes that it would just be called a hole rather than a plot)

hence I am here to the wise readers who have read any one of these given books and can recommend me a good series to start with, and if possible please give a bit of background info on the story without giving the plot away.

A.R. Schlüssel | 13 comments Helvetia Amid Celtic Heroes,
Is not another fantasy tale of dragons, Knights and damsels. It's a vibrant tapestry woven with intricate ancient world-building, diverse characters you'll root for, and a plot that drills your mind. All in a world that feels both familiar and fantastical, drawing you in with vivid descriptions and leaving you eager to explore its hidden corners.

At the heart of the story lies Helu. Her determination, courage and resilience in the face of adversity will inspire you. You'll find yourself cheering her victories, feeling her losses, and growing alongside her as she navigates an ancient world fraught with danger and thruths that persist today.

RiRi | 238 comments I haven't read the Chicago Ruthless series but I did read the New York Ruthless series and overall I enjoyed it. Not sure if you've read that series but it's Irish mafia, MMMMF. The plot had some holes but overall I liked the story and the characters. I've heard good things about the Chicago Ruthless series, specifically Dante's book.
