A Storm to Remember: Short, Sweet Romance - short and easy to read, but maybe too short
The Piano Girl - make sure to get the full book
To All the Boys I've Loved Before

Classics:
Anne of Green Gables
A Little Princess - shorter than Anne of Green Gables if you feel it's too long
White Fang by Jack London - I've recommended it quite a few times!
