Wow, Caitlin! You read a ton. Thinking about reading Little Peach, it looks interesting.
Some nice endings here. I'm afraid my ending will be anticlimactic, but a good run while it lasted.
There are about 5.5 hours left in the readathon for me. Initially, I didn't think I would be able to get much reading done today but I'm on a nice little streak in the last hour so I'm going to try and make the most of it before midnight! I hope everyone enjoys the last day of the readathon!
I cannot even imagine reading 1,000 pages in a week. Way to go, Caitlin. So close to completing my goal of finishing 3 books this week. Just have 70 pages left to read in 3 and a half hours. I am thinking I will make it but hey, ya never know.
I read 19 books but they were all small books. I didn't read as much as I wanted today. When's the next Readathon? :)

For the audiobooks I did a calculation based on the percentage and number of pages in the book. Except W&P. For that, I just have no idea. My total is about 1,000 pages for the week, mostly from audiobooks, but I'm quite happy. Especially since it pushed me to finish W&P.
I'm going to write in my progress now, because although I have just less than 2 hours left until midnight, something tells me I will fall asleep before I remember to update this thread again!This readathon was really productive for me - not only did it bring me out of my reading slump, it also introduced me to 2 new authors: Moira Young and Barry Lyga. I've enjoyed both very much this week, although I will say that I'm loving Lyga's "I Hunt Killers" trilogy. I've become so engrossed in it that I've read 400 pages of the second book today!
My spring readathon progress is 1043 pages read. Very proud of myself for that, especially considering all of the usual life things that are going on - and those unusual ones too.
It looks like everyone has had a great time with this readathon - thank you everyone for participating! I can't wait to read about the rest of the updates as everyone rings in the end of their own readathons.

Seems like you guys all did a great job.My total ended up being 720 pages, which I'm happy with as it very slightly exceeds an average of 100 pages per day (I'm a slower reader). But I think if I hadn't been so social this week I could have done better. I also made the mistake of spending too long determined to finish a book I didn't really like -- Hotel Iris by Yoko Ogawa -- which slowed down my progress for a couple of days, because I wasn't so excited to read.

You don't use it that often, but when you do, I wish I was British and could pass that off my lips, especially when I'm pissed (see how nice chuffed is?). But, alas, it would not sound the same and have the same effect.
I started Anna Karenina and made it 65% through Inferno as my mystery/thriller for the 50 book challenge. I started and finished both Red Dog Saloon and In A Field of Oranges for ROY G BIV. And I was able to get through Fu-Fu-Fu-Frank!: One Man's Struggle with Tourette Syndrome in less than 24 hours - as my hometown book (and only 3500 residents) for the 50 book challenge.

Oh, yeah, I totally agree. I love it when she breaks out in Brit-speak! I want to adopt every one of them. Any Jersey-isms I've got are just not the same. :P

I experienced a "read-a-little" instead of a read-a-thon. One of those weeks. I only read 2 books.
