It's not a book I consult often but when I do it's a valuable and educational experience. My husband and I made macarons from this book's recipe for Valentine's Day.

This is a local history book, given to my father by my grandfather and given to me by my father. I've read it twice and will consult it again for local history purposes.

However I do also have all 12 Swallows and Amazons of this edition (below) in hardback.

Is that the actress Geraldine Brooks who was married to playwright Budd Schulberg?

1. Whichwood Tahere Mafi
2. Clockwork angle Cassandra Clare
3. Six of Crows series Leigh Bardugo
4. Shadow and bone Leigh Bardugo
5. Frost Hollow Hall Emma Carroll
6. Kingdom of Ash Sarah j. mass

My prettiest books are definitely my clothbound editions of several classics like the Austen's books or Anna Karenina.
My Harry Potter black-and-white edition is also very pretty in my opinion.
Other books that I bought for their covers mainly are Before the Coffee Gets Cold, Piranessi, On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, and One Hundred Years of Solitude.

1. Heartless by Marissa Meyer - the cover is just so pretty - and fun read love this
2. Cruel Illusions by Margie Fuston - Fairyloot edition - haven't read yet
3. Shatter me 1-3 - by Tahereh Mafi - Fairyloot exclusive edition, love the series
4. Divine Rivals - by Rebecca Ross - I have both an Owlcrate edition and Fairyloot and they are both gorgeous editions - it was a pretty good read as well

There is also Pride and Prejudice, I bought off of amazon and the cover is just so beautiful and artsy and bright.
