Hunter H. | 8 comments Treasures of the Lochs
This is suspenseful YA Christian fiction, involving a modern-day treasure hunt in Scotland, with a bit of supernatural thrown in. Blending historical fact and Scottish legend within an action-packed adventure, Treasures of the Lochs is an exciting, powerful story of faith, friendship, and redemption. The target audience is teenage and above (some parts would be too intense for younger readers). This book is a 2024 NIEA Finalist in Religion Fiction. It also hit Amazon#1 New Release for Christian Fantasy. I hope you’ll check it out.

Mildly Mad Hatter | 21 comments Does anyone have any clean middle-grade fantasy books, similar to Keeper of the Lost Cities? No cussing, spice, or LGBTQ? I pre-read books for my siblings to make sure they are good, but I am having a hard time finding clean books.

Jasmine (Jazzie) | 4304 comments I don't know of any, sorry.

The closest I've heard about so far is a bit different, it's more of fairytale retellings, and it's not MG. I also haven't read this series, but Lindsey from BFCG said that the Singer Tales by Deborah Grace White kind of reminded her of KOTLC in a way, like, I think like the feeling of it at times or something.

But I would definitely recommend checking out Lindsey from Books For Christian Girls, and especially her videos for MG book recommendations to see if she has any recs.

MyKenzie | 468 comments I’m in search of CLEAN thriller or(and)mystery books they don’t have to be Christian, but they most be clean.

Clean(for me at least) little to no sexual content no lgbtq or spice

It's more of an action thriller, but I like Thieve's Gambit.

Loser | 9 comments Does anybody know any clean fantasy books. Like The Illyon Chronicles or The Blades of Acktar? I know the blades of acktar is not fantasy, but I would not mind a book that is not strictly fantasy if it is like The Blades of Acktar.
